Coming back to university after Christmas break, I feel a bit anxious to begin the final steps of our course, as there is still so much to do in such a little space of time. Kyle gave us a brief overview of the IXD504 module this morning, providing key dates and tips on how to go about our portfolios, presentations and reports.

With the pressure and over-working I had to do get my previous modules finished in time, I need to keep on top of things this semester to finish on a good, high note. Therefor, I want to get ahead of this semester’s projects before I usually would.

Percentages

• 10% - Portfolio Website
• 40% - Colophon Design Report
• 50% - Viva + Project Demo + Show

Portfolio

• Can be made using Webflow (encouraged), Wix, Squarespace (anything of our own choosing)
• Keep it as simple as possible
• Not too much clicking/navigation for the user
• Links & intro at the top
• Content below with links to pages
• Must include:
  • A homepage
  • Two case studies
  • Contact details
  • A small ‘about’
• Purpose is to outline potential employability
