With Christmas over, it’s now the beginning of the end for my final year at IXD! 👩🏻‍💻

I’m nervous but excited to begin the last stretch of the hurdle! I’m pretty pleased with how SafetyNet is coming along so far. I definitely need to research a bit more into inclusive design, and how to build a sustainable application for children. I have compiled a lot of research so far into what exactly needs to be taught on the app, so I’m sorted in that aspect.

I also want to explore different methods of providing safety to the teens using this app, so they don’t just have to rely on the mobile app for safety and security, as something might happen in real time that they don’t know what to do about.

I’ll be researching more into different ways to approach this solution, as well as gathering UI design inspiration and looking into what others have done in the past.
